Looking for a fun and creative way to engage and entertain your team that’s a little out of the ordinary? We understand the importance of teamwork and building culture, and Washpool provides a safe and stimulating environment to get hands-on and experience your own creativity, guided by our formulator.

Become immersed in the craft of natural soapmaking, candle and lip balm making, bath bomb production or even solid perfume making, using Washpool recipes and processes.

You’ll be educated by Melissa Thomas, founder and formulator at Washpool, who has over 12 years experience in the soapmaking and skincare industry. She is also a Cosmetic Chemist who would love to share her knowledge with your team.

We can tailor an event for you and your team that will fit within your budget and your available time.

Washpool’s store and lab is located in Stanthorpe in south west rural Queensland, 3 hours out of Brisbane, and approximately 1 hour from Tenterfield, 2 hours from Toowoomba. 

Our new home is a sensory experience which was purpose built to accommodate workshops in our lab, with breakout spaces in our kitchen overlooking the store/soaperie.

We utilise the services of caterers and wineries from the area to provide healthy, delicious and gluten free refreshments and use locally sourced ingredients for lunches, and provide an on-site coffee bar for cold refreshments, organic coffee and specialty teas.

What type of experience would suit your team?

Full Day Soapmaking Workshop (10am - 3pm)

Includes education of process and demonstration, development of your own soap blend (tasks completed in pairs), and a gourmet lunch and wine to end the day. A little lighter on theory than our Intensive Soap Making workshop, but you’ll still get an understanding of soap making and your team will each get to take home a kilo of soap and samples. 

Half Day Candle Making Workshop (3 hours)

Includes education of the process and demonstration, development of your own candle blend (tasks completed in pairs), and either a gourmet morning or afternoon tea with cold refreshments or specialty teas and coffees. Your team will get to take home a 135g Aromatherapy Candle with your chosen blend from our range.

Half Day Bath Bomb Workshop (3 hours)

Includes education of the process and demonstration, development of your own set of bath bombs (tasks completed in pairs), and either a gourmet morning or afternoon tea with cold refreshments or specialty teas and coffees. Your team will each get to take home a pack of 4 Bath Bombs.

Half Day Lip Balm Workshop (3 hours)

Includes education of the process and demonstration, development of your own lip balms (tasks completed in pairs), and either a gourmet morning or afternoon tea with cold refreshments or specialty teas and coffees. Your team will each get to take home 2 lip balms.
