Washing down surfaces with soap and water is the first step in sanitising, however a quality sanitising surface spray is helpful to finish off or for surfaces that cannot be cleaned with soap and water.
What makes a good sanitising spray?
- The correct percentage of alcohol (ethanol). Too little or even too much and the efficacy of the formula will be compromised. Our formula contains 70% alcohol, which is exactly where it should be for the intended task.
- The formula should evaporate after a short period of time - long enough to expose the organism to the alcohol but leave surfaces sanitised and ready to use again quickly.
- Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil is included for its antibacterial properties and the fresh scent is a delightful bonus.
* Note, the Sanitising Spray may also be used on hands if no gel sanitiser is available. Just ensure that you have sprayed enough to coat the hands well and allow to dry naturally.
